This policy explains how SCENE memberships renew, how to cancel and when refunds apply. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Membership
SCENE membership is a monthly subscription that renews automatically at the start of each period until you cancel. The price is shown before you pay.
2. Free periods
If your membership starts with a free period, no payment details are required when you join. Adding payment details is optional until you choose a paid subscription. Your free membership will not automatically become a paid subscription, and you will not be charged unless you choose one and agree to its price and billing terms. Any free-period end date is shown when you are approved.
3. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@datethescene.com. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. If you subscribed through the App Store, cancel through your Apple account settings.
4. Refunds
Payments are non-refundable, including for partial months, except where the law requires otherwise. If you were charged in error, email us within 30 days and we will put it right.
5. Diamonds
Diamonds are one-off purchases and are non-refundable once sent.
6. Removal from SCENE
If we remove your account for breaking our Terms, you won't be charged again, and the current period is not refunded.
